Grandchildren

Hello all
My name is Sandy and I am TheSuccessGran on Twitter and the grandmother of two very beautiful children.

My granddaughter is 7 years old. I usually pick her up on Friday afternoons and bring her home on Monday Morning in time for school. She lives about a 50 minute drive from where I live.

My grandson is 5 months old. I take care of him 5 days a week while his parents work. I have done so since he was 6 weeks old.

Some days I am very tired but very well loved and that says it all.

Hi Sandy,

You sound like a wonderful Grandmother to have. It seems to be a trend these days, Grandmothers taking care of Grandchildren so the parents can work. I am actually not a Grandmother yet myself, my daughter isn't to keen on the idea of being a parent...but when the time is right, she will want it. She married young and is enjoying her life with her hubby now.

My son is still single.
